Job description
The role involves working as a software engineer on the Amazon Web Services team, focusing on building scalable distributed systems and enhancing cloud computing solutions for U.S. government customers. The ideal candidate will have strong Linux and networking fundamentals, a passion for coding, and the ability to think big while addressing complex technical challenges. Engineers will collaborate in an agile environment, contributing to automation, development, and operations for AWS machine learning services. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or CSSLP certification.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 1+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems.
- 3+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, and operating systems.
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Java is preferred.
- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology.
