• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience with network routing protocols, design, and troubleshooting with network equipment providers.
• Experience with planning and designing networks across multiple sites and products.
• Experience developing networking products, technologies, software, and protocols.
• Substantial operational experience with carrier-class routers and switches is preferred.
• Experience in programming languages such as C++, Go, or Python is preferred.

• Drive innovation and create requirements for new networking product ideas and process improvements.
• Own the analysis of data and capacity forecast models to enhance network scalability and efficiency.
• Evaluate current inefficiencies in network systems and propose designs and processes for improvement.
• Lead the resolution of software, hardware, and network problems by recommending appropriate solutions.
• Oversee the entire life-cycle of a network including design, deployment, operation, and optimization.
