As a Senior Staff Software Security Engineer at Robinhood, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the security architecture that supports the company's mission to democratize finance. You will work within a large Security Engineering team, focusing on areas such as Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, and AI Security. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership to drive strategic initiatives and mentor other engineers. Your contributions will be crucial in ensuring that Robinhood can innovate safely while addressing high-impact technical challenges.

• Proven track record of technical leadership at organizational scale.
• Deep technical expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and/or Cryptography.
• Strong software or security engineering foundation with hands-on experience.
• Exceptional ability to identify critical technical problems independently.
• Outstanding communication skills and a strong track record of mentoring engineers.

• Provide cross-domain technical strategy and architectural direction across Security Engineering.
• Help establish and evolve Robinhood’s security foundation for emerging AI technologies.
• Identify high-leverage technical problems and drive major cross-cutting initiatives.
• Write code and land production systems for identified technical challenges.
• Work closely with engineering managers to establish quarterly priorities and align roadmaps.
