Job description

The Boston Consulting Group is seeking experienced consultants for Project Leader or Principal roles in Chicago, Detroit, and Minneapolis. These positions focus on delivering innovative solutions to clients, particularly in the Public Sector and Technology and Digital Advantage practices. Candidates will manage client engagements, develop strategic recommendations, and foster high-level client relationships. The role emphasizes collaboration within diverse teams and requires strong leadership and analytical skills.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in Public Sector and Technology and Digital Advantage practices.
  • 2-3+ years of consulting experience, with at least 1 year at a team lead level.
  • Strong analytical skills and capacity for conceptual thinking.
  • Proven ability to build and grow senior client relationships.
  • A degree from a top-tier institution is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects to define client needs and supervise research activities.
  • Develop actionable recommendations based on business principles.
  • Guide teams to exceptional output while developing their skills.
  • Contribute to the development of client accounts and identify future opportunities.
  • Deliver formal presentations to senior management and persuade clients to take action.
