Job description
The Structured Finance Analytics team within the Global Banking & Markets division is looking for a motivated professional to support the Credit & Asset Finance business. This role focuses on securitization execution and requires a solution-oriented mindset. The successful candidate will work with large datasets to provide insights and analytics for various financial products. Strong communication skills are essential for translating technical analytics into client-facing insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or other STEM related degrees.
- 0 to 3 years of experience in loans or fixed income, or an internship in related fields.
- Experience with Python, SQL, and reporting tools is required.
- Understanding of fixed income analytics including duration, convexity, and yield modeling.
- Familiarity with mortgage or consumer credit performance data.
Responsibilities
- Perform large-scale data manipulations across millions of loan-level records to deliver portfolio-level insights.
- Act as a client advisor and perform analytics on all advisory securitization transactions.
- Collaborate with clients and work with data from various sources including settlement data and servicer data.
- Own portfolio collateral analysis across the full deal lifecycle using Python, CAS, and SQL.
- Provide pool level CPR speeds, loss severity, and credit enhancement from various models.
- Assist in populating credit memo and PPM materials with outside accountants and lawyers.
- Perform asset pool selection based on contribution requirements for ABS/CMBS securitization.
- Work with rating agencies to create historical performance matrices to project future performance.
- Manage cross-functional relationships to ensure accurate representation of monthly portfolio activities.
