Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Principal/Director level Project Engineer for their Automotive Software Platform team. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of automotive software projects, from concept to production, while ensuring quality standards and timely completion. The engineer will interface with OEM engineering executives and Qualcomm's senior leadership, representing customer needs and driving alignment across teams. The position requires strong technical leadership and the ability to manage complex projects in the automotive domain.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years, or a PhD with 6+ years.
• 4+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Extensive experience in software engineering, including project management and leadership roles.
• Strong background in automotive systems engineering.

• Lead and manage automotive software engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the customer’s engineering executives.
• Coordinate and synchronize Qualcomm internal engineering teams to meet customer milestones.
• Drive resolution of critical technical issues and ensure clear communication.
• Represent the customer’s priorities and constraints in internal reviews and discussions.
• Act as a technical role model and mentor cross-functional teams.
