Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Principal/Director level Project Engineer for their Automotive Software Platform team. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of automotive software projects, from concept to production, while ensuring quality standards are met. The engineer will interface with OEM engineering executives and Qualcomm's leadership, focusing on technical leadership and customer alignment. The position requires a deep understanding of automotive systems and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years, or a PhD with 6+ years.
• 4+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Extensive experience in software engineering, including project management and leadership roles.
• Strong background in automotive systems engineering.

• Lead and manage automotive software engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Act as the chief technical counterpart to the OEM’s engineering leadership for ADAS related programs.
• Coordinate and synchronize Qualcomm internal engineering teams to meet customer milestones.
• Drive resolution of critical technical issues and ensure timely escalation.
• Represent the customer’s priorities and pain points in internal reviews and management meetings.
• Guide and mentor cross-functional Qualcomm teams working on the customer.
