Job description
The Back End Developer Intern role at IBM focuses on developing and maintaining server applications and APIs. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Basic knowledge in software development concepts is necessary.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, C, Java, Golang, Ruby, Python, Perl, and SQL is expected.
Responsibilities
- Work with client-server architectures, networking protocols, application development, and databases.
- Create and configure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) applications.
- Design and code server applications, firmware, and databases that are reusable and scalable.
- Develop clean and well-documented Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), specifically REST APIs.
- Participate in Agile and Cloud DevOps development methodologies.
