Job description
This role involves joining a team of program managers at NVIDIA who are responsible for the successful introduction of next-generation GPU-based products. The team collaborates closely with various internal leaders to ensure the software team delivers high-quality products while managing complex projects. The position requires a strong understanding of driver and firmware development processes to make necessary adjustments and drive program success. Candidates will work in a dynamic environment, focusing on maximizing efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with the software development lifecycle, specifically for device drivers and applications.
- Experience in chip bringup.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable multitasking in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.
- Excellent communication and technical presentation skills.
- Thorough knowledge of software engineering and lifecycle principles.
- Experience with productivity tools and process automation is a huge plus, as well as data analysis with Excel or Tableau.
- Knowledge of operating systems, graphics principles, AI datacenters, and standards is a plus.
- Experience using AI to boost productivity and solve problems.
- 3+ years in a similar or related role and BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- PM certification/training is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate all system, board, and chip needs on behalf of the software development and QA teams.
- Drive hardware allocation, infrastructure, budgeting, and priority calls.
- Represent the Software organization at Go-To-Market meetings for the GPU segment.
- Build and present a clear overview of the project plan.
- Learn the software stack to understand software team requirements.
