Apple's Platform Architecture group is focused on developing next-generation hardware and high-performance verification systems for Apple silicon. This role is centered on bridging platform technology with design verification methodology and tooling. The engineer will work on cutting-edge verification techniques and prototype solutions to enhance simulation throughput for design verification workflows. The position requires collaboration across various engineering teams to drive transformational improvements in verification processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with SystemVerilog and EDA tooling.
• Experience with software development using C++ and scripting languages such as Perl or Python.
• Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another hardware-related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in design verification methodologies.

• Enable improvements to simulation throughput for design verification workflows through testbench design.
• Implement infrastructure improvements and conduct platform research and development.
• Apply design verification methodologies such as UVM and DPI-C.
• Utilize linting/static analysis tools and perform waveform debugging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across silicon engineering and EDA development.
