Apple's Platform Architecture group is focused on developing the next generation of Apple hardware and enhancing verification systems for Apple silicon. The team is dedicated to advancing pre-silicon validation through innovative simulation solutions. This role combines next-generation platform technology with design verification methodology and tooling. The ideal candidate will drive improvements in simulation throughput and contribute to the development of cutting-edge verification techniques.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with SystemVerilog and EDA tooling.
• Experience with software development using C++ and scripting languages such as Perl or Python.
• Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another hardware-related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Deep hands-on experience in Design Verification methodologies like UVM and DPI-C.
• Strong understanding of SystemVerilog simulation semantics and hardware representation.

• Enable transformational improvements to simulation throughput for design verification workflows.
• Design and implement testbenches and infrastructure improvements.
• Conduct platform research and development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across silicon engineering, design verification, and EDA development.
• Apply software optimization and high-performance computing techniques.
• Develop agentic pipelines and similar work to enhance AI productivity for engineers.
