As a Cellular Modem RF Software Engineering Program Manager at Apple, you will play a crucial role in the development of cellular baseband modems, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and schedule requirements. • BS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated ability with a track record of hands-on engineering management or program/project management in the firmware/software domain.
• Relevant proven experience in wireless modem Layer 1 or RF software development and/or RF verification.
• Good understanding of the development lifecycle for embedded software and firmware.
• Knowledge of cellular modem baseband building blocks and software layers.
• Good understanding of RF transceiver and RF front end components control for cellular modems.
• Knowledge of RF cellular major features, real-time requirements, and associated challenges.
• Experience in wireless standards such as 5G-NR, 4G LTE, UMTS, GSM, or CDMA is a significant plus.
