Job description
As a Cellular Modem RF Software Engineering Program Manager at Apple, you will play a crucial role in developing cellular baseband modems to meet performance and quality standards for Apple products. You will work closely with hardware and software engineering teams to ensure project success. Requirements
- BS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability in engineering management or program/project management in the firmware/software domain.
- Proven experience in wireless modem Layer 1/RF software development and/or RF verification.
- Good understanding of the development lifecycle for embedded software and firmware.
- Knowledge of cellular modem baseband building blocks and software layers.
- Understanding of RF transceiver and RF front end components control for cellular modems.
- Familiarity with RF cellular major features, real-time requirements, and associated challenges.
- Experience in wireless standards such as 5G-NR, 4G LTE, UMTS, GSM, or CDMA is a significant plus.
