Requirements
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Experience creating 2D mechanical drawings using CAD software.
- Knowledge of mechanical parts design and manufacturing methods such as injection molding and CNC.
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and Statistical Process Control methodologies.
- Experience in heat transfer and thermal management design.
- Design experience with cooling fans, thermal modules, or vapor chambers.
Responsibilities
- Dimension and determine the tolerance of engineering drawings for high volume mass production.
- Review test and measurement data from engineering builds and iterate test definitions as necessary.
- Maintain awareness of state-of-the-art thermal and air moving technologies.
- Develop and prototype innovative thermal module and cooling fan concepts.
- Determine methods to attach thermal modules to SoCs to optimize performance and reliability.
