Qualcomm is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer for its Enterprise AI Platform and Solutions team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and delivering next-generation AI-powered applications and platform capabilities. Candidates must demonstrate strong ownership and the ability to deliver production-quality solutions under tight timelines. This position requires full-time onsite work in San Diego, CA.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C#.NET, Rust, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Angular, Node.js, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience designing and building full-stack applications, including user interfaces, backend services, APIs, and distributed systems.

• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, including document ingestion and indexing.
• Develop and integrate LLM-powered capabilities and AI services into enterprise applications.
• Design, develop, and enhance end-to-end AI-powered enterprise applications.
• Architect, deploy, and operate scalable cloud-native AI solutions on Kubernetes and public cloud platforms.
• Design and implement APIs and integration layers that expose AI capabilities across applications.
• Build and maintain production-ready CI/CD pipelines and operational tooling for AI applications.
• Collaborate with AI/ML, platform, infrastructure, security, and product teams to deliver robust AI solutions.
