Job description
The role is focused on AI-native development within the Commercial Engineering & AI (CEAI) team at Microsoft. This team aims to transform Microsoft's commercial business by integrating AI tools and modern platforms to enhance operational efficiency. The position involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand user requirements and applying best practices in coding, design, and engineering excellence. Candidates will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that leverage AI to improve commercial execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with distributed systems and micro-service architecture.
- Familiarity with REST Based APIs and cloud storage technologies.
- Experience in deploying and operating services in the cloud.
Responsibilities
- Use AI tools effectively across the software development life cycle.
- Develop, review, and improve code with a focus on quality and security.
- Collaborate on architecture and design decisions to create scalable solutions.
- Execute project and release plans ensuring secure deployments.
- Maintain live-site health through monitoring and incident response.
