• Journeyman Tool and Die Maker certification is mandatory.
• A relevant manufacturing or engineering degree is preferred, or over 7 years of equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies is required.
• Ability to manage and motivate cross-functional team members.

• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best-practice stamping processes.
• Lead the tooling life cycle from product development through to delivery.
• Assist in all stamping feasibility and simulation parameters.
• Continuously improve DFM documents regarding stamping best practices.
• Oversee the construction and delivery of checking fixtures.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems efficiently.
• Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
