This role involves joining a dynamic team focused on leveraging Generative AI to enhance customer adoption of Amazon's Neuron software stack. The team aims to simplify and accelerate the migration to AWS's ML silicon by building innovative agents, tools, and models. As a key contributor, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify obstacles and opportunities in this space. The position is critical to driving impact within Amazon's Generative AI business.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant, broad engineering experience
• Hands-on technical experience working in the Generative AI space
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle
• Experience in one or more areas such as ML compilers, production coding agents, or neural network optimization
• 2+ years in machine learning or computational modeling environments
• Proven track record in building AI agents that automate ML workload optimization
• Experience working with open-source software communities in the optimization space
• Domain-level knowledge of AWS services

• Deliver on goals to improve the time and effort it takes to port and optimize Machine Learning workloads on Neuron
• Build and operate agentic evaluation frameworks, monitoring, and feedback loops for AI agents
• Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions

• Potentially contribute intellectual property through patents
