Job description
The Vice President, AI Enablement Lead at Morgan Stanley will drive the adoption and optimization of generative AI within the Global Research team. This role involves leading a dedicated AI Enablement team and translating the needs of research analysts into scalable AI solutions. The successful candidate will combine expertise in financial services with hands-on AI capabilities and project management experience. The position requires both strategic planning and tactical execution in AI governance and compliance.
Requirements
- 5-10+ years of experience in financial services, investment research, fintech, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and research workflows.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI, prompt engineering, and Python.
- Proven team leadership, product/project management, and stakeholder management experience.
- Ability to bridge business, technology, and governance functions while driving enterprise AI initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Execute and shape the AI adoption strategy for Global Research.
- Identify and prioritize high-value use cases and build a roadmap to improve analyst workflows.
- Lead the AI Enablement team, setting priorities and managing delivery.
- Translate research needs into AI solutions by partnering with analysts and technology teams.
- Drive AI governance and compliance to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the AI subject matter expert for research and evaluate emerging AI technologies.
- Lead training and change management efforts to increase AI adoption.
