Job description

The role at GEICO involves preparing and reviewing statistical exhibits for analyses and making projections to support internal management reports. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Math, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
  • Five years of related analytical experience.
  • Three years of experience in SAS, SQL, Cloud databases, R, and Excel.
  • Two years of experience in process control, project management, and claims, underwriting, marketing, or agent.
  • Master’s degree in a related field with three years of analytical experience is also acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review statistical exhibits for analyses and projections.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to develop product changes.
  • Develop and implement favorable business solutions.
  • Organize and maintain various data sources using programming languages.
  • Lead and provide expertise to Research and Development associates.
  • Automate current processes to improve department efficiency.
  • Conduct analytical projects supporting mid to high level business problems.
