Job description
The Senior Software Engineer in Test will join the Compute CUDA Quality Assurance team to ensure validation readiness for PCIe Data Center GPU programs. This role involves new silicon bring up, CUDA and NVIDIA Driver quality, and automation development. The engineer will work closely with various teams to translate feature requirements into measurable coverage and drive issues to resolution. The position emphasizes collaboration and the application of AI-assisted tools for quality analysis.
Requirements
- A BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in software quality, test automation, or software development and validation.
- Experience solving Linux and Windows system issues.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, C, C++, CUDA, or Bash.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop CUDA Compute test plans and coordinate validation across various GPU configurations and release stages.
- Build test applications, automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines using Python, C, C++, CUDA, and Bash.
- Convert failures and defects into reliable automated regression coverage.
- Drive defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
- Apply AI-assisted tools to analyze test runs and validate conclusions.
