The Video Computer Vision (VCV) group is seeking a highly motivated Machine Learning Systems Engineer to advance cutting-edge computer vision technology on Apple devices. This role involves training, evaluating, and deploying specialized vision models while optimizing their performance and efficiency. The team has developed groundbreaking features like FaceID and Body Tracking, fundamentally changing user interactions with technology. By collaborating across hardware, software, and AI teams, the engineer will help shape future products and enhance user experiences under strict on-device constraints.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong ML fundamentals and a proven track record of writing high-quality production code.
• Solid understanding of operating system fundamentals and extensive programming experience in Python and C++.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch and familiarity with the end-to-end ML lifecycle.
• Experience with Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) pipelines for adapting vision models.
• Robust understanding of machine learning architectures, specifically Multimodal LLMs.
• Programming experience with Swift and familiarity with CoreML and related frameworks.
• Fundamental knowledge of real-time video pipelines and image transformations.
• Experience optimizing models for neural network accelerators.
