Job description
The Business Technology Solutions (BTS) team at Apple is seeking a versatile Product Owner and Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to drive the strategy and delivery of foundational platform substrates. This role requires a blend of product management, engineering program management, and systems analysis skills to ensure successful execution of complex cross-functional integrations. The ideal candidate will act as the primary product owner, deeply understanding business needs and managing the delivery pipeline. This position is critical for shaping the strategic vision for enterprise architecture and ensuring robust, reusable platform components.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of hybrid experience blending Product Management, Engineering Program Management, and Systems Analysis within complex enterprise environments.
- 5+ years as an EPM partnering with engineering to drive the SDLC.
- 5+ years in Systems Analysis with deep technical fluency to map complex data flows and evaluate API integrations.
- Certifications such as CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or PMP.
- Hands-on use of GenAI tools for product, program, and systems-analysis work.
- Experience working with globally distributed platforms and project teams.
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, repair, trade-in, or other operational domains.
Responsibilities
- Define the vision and strategy for product development.
- Conduct workflow analyses to understand business-partner needs.
- Transition from defining requirements to executing the delivery pipeline.
- Work closely with engineering leads to sequence work and mitigate technical risks.
- Manage cross-functional dependencies to deliver scalable platform solutions.
- Ensure platform components are robust and reusable through effective systems analysis.
