The Senior Data Scientist will play a crucial role in the Services Product Data Science & Analytics organization at Apple. This team focuses on developing insights and machine learning solutions to enhance Apple Media Services, including Apple Music and Apple TV. The position involves working with large datasets and collaborating with various partners across Business, Marketing, Product, Content, and Engineering. The goal is to deliver data-driven strategies that provide significant customer and business value while ensuring customer privacy.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience extracting insights from large datasets using Python and SQL
• 7+ years of experience employing statistical methods for business problems like classification and forecasting
• Demonstrated experience in architecting and scaling experimentation platforms
• Strong expertise in causal inference methods such as synthetic control and regression discontinuity design
• Proven track record of building and deploying machine learning models that influence business decisions
• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field
• Experience with productionizing machine learning models with engineering teams
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Spark
• Experience in the media or entertainment industry
• Passion for film, television, and/or music domains
