The Front-End Engineer II role at Amazon Quick focuses on designing and delivering user interfaces that enhance AI interaction for enterprise software. Requirements
- 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- 1+ years of experience in computer science fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithm design.
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end feature delivery from technical design through implementation, testing, and production release.
- Build innovative interaction patterns using React, TypeScript, and AWS Cloudscape Design System.
- Define UX for new problem spaces and collaborate with UX designers and product managers.
- Drive front-end quality with clean, well-tested code and operational ownership of features in production.
- Contribute to front-end architecture including component design and performance optimization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with backend engineers, applied scientists, and security teams.
