Job description

The AI Customer Engineer for National Security at Google Public Sector will work closely with technical sales teams to promote Google Cloud solutions to government clients. This role focuses on leveraging generative AI to address complex business challenges faced by public sector institutions. The engineer will engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored cloud solutions. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with product management to enhance Google Cloud offerings based on customer feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and deploying solutions that leverage or integrate generative AI.
  • Experience in, or supporting the National Security customers.
  • Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
  • Share in-depth enterprise infrastructure modernization expertise to support the technical relationship with customers.
  • Leverage Google Cloud products directly to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer environments.
  • Guide customers through assessments of existing legacy application environments and provide recommendations for modernization.
  • Recommend integration strategies and enterprise architectures required to implement complete solutions on Google Cloud.
