AMD Client AI Solutions is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to enhance local AI experiences on AMD Ryzen AI platforms. This role requires expertise in Windows AI, strategic collaboration with OEMs and ISVs, and ownership of technical documentation. The engineer will work cross-functionally within AMD and with external partners to address technical challenges and improve the developer experience. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who excels in problem-solving and communication.

• 6+ years of relevant experience in AI inference solutions, applications engineering, or software engineering.
• Strong programming and debugging skills in Python and C/C++ on Windows.
• Experience with AI/ML inference workflows and frameworks such as PyTorch, ONNX, or Hugging Face.
• Ability to write high-quality developer documentation and technical tutorials.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to explain complex technical findings.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in Windows Local AI and Windows ML.
• Partner with Microsoft and internal AMD teams to validate Windows AI scenarios.
• Provide technical support for prioritized OEM and ISV issues.
• Own and maintain customer-facing technical documentation for Ryzen AI.
• Create reference applications and technical collateral to assist developers.
• Plan and execute competitive analysis and benchmarking across AI PC platforms.
