Job description
The Client Portfolio Management (CPM) team within Goldman Sachs Asset Management's Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) is seeking a candidate to bridge the gap between technology and investment management. This dynamic role involves client-facing work, such as pitching strategies and producing client-specific analysis, as well as product strategy, including programming for research and data analytics. The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving quantitative challenges and communicating effectively with clients. The team values diverse skill sets and collaboration to drive innovative investment solutions.
Requirements
- A quantitative orientation with a background in a STEM field such as engineering, mathematics, or computer science.
- Familiarity with a programming language such as Python, Matlab, Java, or C/C++.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Strong interest in financial markets and good investment sense.
- Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a product expert on QIS investment products for internal and external clients.
- Identify client solutions and products to market.
- Write code to solve analytical problems and produce market analysis.
- Conduct research and develop investment products with team members.
- Prepare relevant marketing materials in collaboration with the sales force.
