Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project, a significant infrastructure initiative in the United States. This role involves managing field operations, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, schedule, and budget. The project aims to enhance mobility and reliability of the Northeast Corridor, impacting over 200,000 daily passengers. • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs).
• Tunneling experience in pressurized face TBM mining, precast concrete segmental lining, and cross passage construction.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of safety standards, regulations, and best practices in tunneling operations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
