The role is for an early-career quantitative analyst within the Equity Asset Class research group at Strategic Advisers, LLC. The team focuses on generating proprietary insights to enhance investment decisions and improve outcomes through quantitative models. Analysts will collaborate with portfolio managers and fundamental analysts to conduct empirical analysis and back-test strategies. The position requires strong technical skills and the ability to communicate complex findings in an investment-oriented manner.

• 2-6 years of experience in quantitative investment research and portfolio construction roles.
• Strong preference for a graduate degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Decision Science, or Computer Science.
• Experience with quantitative portfolio construction methods and investment management.
• Strong technical aptitude with programming skills in Python, R, SQL, and BI tools.
• Experience with quantitative portfolio and risk tools such as Barra, Axioma, FactSet, or Bloomberg.

• Research, design, and develop quantitative investment techniques and methodologies for equity models.
• Partner with equity portfolio managers and research teams to enhance and develop new investment signals.
• Design and back-test strategies, run simulations, and conduct risk analysis to evaluate performance.
• Clearly articulate the rationale for recommendations and communicate findings in an actionable manner.
• Understand, maintain, and improve the infrastructure supporting quantitative research and investment processes.
