Intel's Foundry Technology Manufacturing (FTM) is seeking a CAD/EDA Tools Automation Engineer to enhance engineering productivity through the development of software tools and methodologies. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to support hardware product design and manufacturing processes. The engineer will focus on creating robust automation solutions that streamline the design lifecycle. • Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a STEM related field, completed by the start date.
• 6+ months of experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, or C++.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with version control systems and EDA tools.

• Gather and document user stories and technical requirements.
• Write clean, efficient functional and test code.
• Automate build and deployment pipelines.
• Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of software tools.
• Develop and maintain scalable workflows and design automation solutions.
