Job description
This role focuses on driving technology development for high volume manufacturing and future technology at Intel. The candidate will lead the design and development of sophisticated manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with new product designs and functional requirements. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and key suppliers to enhance production efficiency and develop innovative device architectures. A strong emphasis is placed on process technology feasibility studies and staying updated on industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related STEM field with 3+ years of experience.
- Master's degree in the relevant fields with 2+ years of experience.
- PhD degree in the relevant fields.
- Experience in semiconductor processing, wafer-level assembly, or cleanroom environments.
- Knowledge of process development methodologies and statistical process control.
Responsibilities
- Drive technology development and enable high volume manufacturing.
- Lead design and development of manufacturing processes and repair reverse engineering.
- Perform path-finding activities in support of process and hardware development.
- Recommend and implement modifications for operating equipment to improve production efficiency.
- Partner with key equipment and materials suppliers to develop enabling elements of technology.
- Perform process technology feasibility studies through simulations and engineering methods.
- Stay updated on industrial process and material manufacturing trends.
