The Apps Support Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional responsible for enhancing processes and workflows within the applications support team. This role requires a deep understanding of application development and support, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently. The analyst will lead new implementations and provide training to new team members while coordinating with development teams to improve system stability. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success in this position.

• 4+ years of experience in application development and/or application support
• 3+ years in Ab Initio and database-related projects
• 3+ years with Unix commands, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, ETL, job scheduling tools, and system monitoring tools like App Dynamic
• Knowledge of IT service processes ITIL and a DevOps mindset
• Knowledge of Abinitio, Snowflake, and shell scripting is preferred
• Basic business knowledge and understanding of financial markets and products
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and troubleshooting log analysis skills
• Experience with problem management, issue tracking, and reporting using tools like ServiceNow
• Willingness to work flexible hours

• Perform technical operational tasks on a routine basis within OLA
• Troubleshoot issues reported by users and self-detected issues within SLA
• Independently resolve all known issues and 80% of newly occurred issues, including data investigations
• Monitor and recover all processes to maintain environment stability
• Coordinate with Level 3 and development teams to resolve issues in the PROD environment and provide feedback
• Collect environment improvement points and provide a plan to the development team and application owners
• Plan and coordinate release knowledge sharing, migrations, and disaster recovery documentation
• Provide knowledge and support training for new team members
• Develop support scripts and simplify issue investigation scripts
• Take lead on new implementations and rollouts
