The Notebook Hardware Application Engineer role at NVIDIA involves providing technical support for notebook feature development and ensuring customer satisfaction. • BS or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience with notebook hardware and circuit design.
• Professional-level interpersonal skills to adjust communication based on the audience's technical level.
• Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of notebook hardware, power, thermal, and electrical systems.
• Ability to perform signal measurement and scope operations.
• Good knowledge of X86 System Architecture.
• Familiarity with Linux is advantageous.

• Work with NVIDIA multi-functional teams for notebook feature development.
• Build design guides, application notes, and other supporting technical collateral for notebooks.
• Provide technical support during notebook development, testing, and production.
• Perform hardware design reviews including schematic, PCB, and PDN to ensure compliance with NVIDIA guidelines.
• Conduct installation, configuration, debugging, and bring-up of customer notebook hardware.
• Analyze data to answer questions, reproduce errors, and resolve or escalate customer issues.
• Supervise, file new bugs, and reproduce issues as needed.
