The Data Center Facility Manager is a critical technical leader responsible for overseeing the operations of Amazon's data center infrastructure. This role involves managing teams of engineering technicians and ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical and mechanical systems. The manager will engage in improvement projects and coordinate with third-party vendors to maintain high standards of safety and security. The position requires a collaborative approach within a diverse team to optimize operational efficiency and enhance customer experience.

• 3+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
• 5+ years of managerial or supervisory experience with 8-10 or more direct reports
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations
• Experience communicating technical details verbally and in writing
• Experience conducting interviews and making effective hiring decisions
• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent experience

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical infrastructure.
• Ensure that all work performed within the space is done to high quality and without impact to internal or external customers.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians and Facility Managers in all facets of their career.
• Engage in improvement projects and drive them from conception to completion.
• Ensure staffing levels are maintained and grow with expansions.
• Be actively involved in ongoing construction activities.
• Coordinate daily with third-party vendors ensuring adherence to contracted SLAs.
• Effectively manage the operations budget and expenditures.
