• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems
• 1+ years of experience as a software development engineer or in a related role
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and operations

• Design, build, and operate core platform services for PIXIE's agentic AI system
• Build and maintain the tool/agent registry for new capabilities
• Develop automated evaluation and regression harnesses for LLM outputs
• Implement authorization-aware retrieval to ensure content access is restricted
• Collaborate with Scientists on grounding methodology and retrieval-quality optimization
• Operate what you build, including on-call rotation and system reliability improvements
• Mentor teammates on system design and operational best practices
