The Software Development Engineer role within the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization focuses on designing, building, and operating customer-facing capabilities for enterprise agents. The Agentic WorkSpaces Client team is responsible for creating client software that enables secure access to desktop and web applications. This position involves working on a highly scaled system that delivers remote desktops and applications to millions of users. The team is dedicated to evolving the client experience to support agentic workloads while maintaining high standards of security and operational excellence.

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
• Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience architecting, securing, and operating Amazon Web Services
• Master's degree or above in computer science or equivalent, or 6+ years of technical work experience

• Design, build, and operate customer-facing capabilities across native and web clients
• Advance the client that enterprise agents will work through
• Ensure secure session connectivity and manage client lifecycle
• Develop cross-platform architecture and enhance user experience
• Maintain performance, software updates, and operational telemetry
• Collaborate with teams across AWS to solve complex issues
