As a Hardware System Integrator at Apple, you will leverage your engineering expertise to collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development of innovative products like the Apple Vision Pro. This role focuses on solving challenging engineering problems, including component selection, schematic design, and circuit debugging. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hardware development engineering experience in a team environment.
• Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with schematic capture and layout review.
• Experience in prototyping, bring-up, debug, and validation.
• Experience designing high volume products from beginning to end with contract manufacturers.
• Experience as a technical lead and/or mentoring team members.
• Ability to understand and identify product tradeoffs and optimize designs to meet requirements.
• Working knowledge of embedded systems with a focus on meeting tight constraints.
• Knowledge in areas such as CPU/SOC, power management, analog circuits, and wireless systems.
• Experience working with mechanical design and software development teams.
• Experience with high speed and low speed digital interfaces.
• Experience in electrical CAD tools, such as Cadence Concept and Allegro.
• Excellent written skills for clear reporting of data analysis and conclusions.
