Arcadis is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project, a significant infrastructure initiative in the United States. The role involves field supervision, compliance, documentation, and quality assurance to ensure successful project delivery. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the engineer will contribute to enhancing mobility and resiliency in the Northeast Corridor. • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction management, field engineering, or inspection on large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects.

• Assist with site supervision and field management, supporting the oversight of all construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with construction management plans, safety protocols, and project requirements.
• Monitor and document daily construction activities, including safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Support the development and implementation of environmental monitoring and compliance programs.
• Assist with project controls, including schedule management, cost estimating, and budget tracking.
• Support the implementation of quality management plans and conduct quality audits.
• Participate in meetings and coordination sessions with project management, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Assist with the implementation of safety management plans and procedures.
• Help with package and contract close-out, including punch-list resolution and warranty tracking.
