Job description

The Senior/Lead Electrical Engineer position at Jacobs focuses on leading an electrical engineering team to provide advisory services and engineering design solutions in the energy sector. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering or related engineering discipline
  • At least 10 years of engineering design and/or consulting experience
  • Professional Engineering licensure (any US state), or the ability to acquire a license in additional states if required for a particular project
  • Proven ability to engage with clients, develop relationships and win work
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills
  • Availability to travel as required to support project needs

Responsibilities

  • Lead an electrical engineering team to provide advisory services and engineering design solutions for clients
  • Collaborate with Client Account Managers and sales professionals on strategic pursuits
  • Mentor and manage junior and mid-level electrical engineering staff members
  • Evaluate client energy needs and develop concept-level plans and solutions
  • Engage in business growth strategy, including exploration and development of new project opportunities
  • Participate in proposal development and project execution planning
