Job description

As a Structural Engineering Professional Associate in the NW Region, you will play a crucial role in the design team, focusing on structural analysis and design for advanced manufacturing projects. You will collaborate closely with Structural Leads and other engineers, contributing to the development of design concepts and ensuring accurate communication of structural requirements. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineer License (PE or PEng)
  • At least 4 years of Structural Engineering experience
  • Experience with US building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
  • Experience with Structural Engineering analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering analysis and design under general supervision.
  • Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in the evaluation and selection of engineering techniques.
  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality control in your work.
  • Manage your workload effectively, meeting schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and less experienced engineers.
  • Identify scope changes and escalate them to your Structural Lead.
