The Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer will oversee all engineering and design activities for assigned projects within a highly interactive, multi-disciplinary team. This role involves managing complex engineering tasks while ensuring technical quality and compliance with client requirements and industry regulations. The engineer will also mentor team members and support on-site startup activities. The position is hybrid, allowing for collaboration between Jacobs offices and remote locations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 15 years of experience as a Control Systems Engineer
• Experience in Bio Pharma, Pharmaceutical, and Lab process Instrumentation and controls is preferred
• Knowledge of international codes like ASME BPE and hygienic systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with SmartPlant, Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu

• Serve as the I&C Lead Engineer, overseeing all I&C engineering and design activities for assigned projects
• Develop project scopes of work, prepare manhour estimates, and create I&C Execution Plans
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, Jacobs standards, and applicable industry regulations
• Perform tiered reviews of project deliverables to ensure accuracy and adherence to codes and specifications
• Identify staffing needs and coordinate with the Department Manager to secure appropriate resources
