The Staff Software Engineer for Pixel Audio Systems at Google will lead the development of innovative audio systems for new hardware products. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
• 5 years of experience working with embedded operating systems within the audio space.
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

• Execute bringup of audio systems on new devices from prototype to production hardware.
• Deliver audio HAL implementation enabling high level OS to run flawlessly on SoC platforms.
• Manage decomposition of system design into modular components for team members to drive and deliver.
• Define and design key system components and architecture to reliably execute on program milestones.
• Interface closely with both higher level OS teams and partner SoC vendors to deliver commitments on schedule.
