• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering and design principles, including production, sheet metal, castings, injection molding, structural analysis, and design of cooling solutions.
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field is preferred.
• Experience developing products with high speed signal, power, and cooling interconnects.
• Experience in the mechanical design and engineering of high density, high component count Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) assemblies.

• Own and design products over the entire product design life cycle including requirements gathering, concept generation, detailed design with analysis, cross-functional reviews, verification testing, manufacturing release, and sustaining.
• Ensure designs are fundamentally sound, scalable, robust, and meet engineering requirements backed by thorough engineering analysis and product validation.
• Troubleshoot, root cause, and resolve technical challenges that arise throughout the product development life-cycle.
• Influence and shape future products by providing mechanical and product design engineering expertise into the technology roadmap.
• Identify and scope projects around innovation opportunities as well as technology risks.
