The Water South Mid Atlantic team at Arcadis is seeking creative and energetic candidates to address water-related challenges such as quality, scarcity, and management. This role involves collaborating with experienced water professionals to develop sustainable solutions and support project management activities. The team focuses on protecting natural environments and enhancing water resources while tackling the impacts of climate change. Candidates will engage in various tasks, including site visits and data analysis, to ensure the effective functioning of water systems.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Prior work or internship experience at a design or consulting engineering firm or municipal work environment is preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and/or Revit is preferred.
• EIT certification is preferred.

• Evaluate, plan, and design projects related to water, wastewater, and stormwater treatment and conveyance.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and mitigation planning for sustainability and resilience projects.
• Perform site visits, water sampling, and analyze water quality.
• Support project management activities and ensure compliance with quality, health, and safety standards.
• Utilize data analytics to perform operational and organizational assessments for asset management projects.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and participate in client meetings.
• Learn and manage databases, SQL server, and cloud-based computing services.
• Use digital tools to enhance customer experience and project delivery.
