This role is part of the Fraud Analytics, Modeling & Intelligence organization at Citi, focusing on executing fraud analytics and strategies for North American and global credit card and retail bank businesses. The position involves leveraging data to identify fraud trends and implementing strategies to prevent and mitigate various types of fraud. Collaboration with Fraud Policy, Operations, and other partners is essential to understand business and technology directions. The role requires a strong analytical background to derive insights and improve fraud detection processes.

• Bachelor’s Degree in statistics, mathematics, physics, economics, or other analytical or quantitative discipline is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field is required.
• Experience with Big Data environments and hands-on coding in traditional and open-source tools is necessary.
• Knowledge of traditional and advanced machine learning techniques and algorithms is required.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Tableau, is necessary.
• Excellent quantitative and analytic skills are required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Detail-oriented with a strong intellectual curiosity is required.
• Ability to multi-task and work against tight deadlines is necessary.
• Ability to work independently with baseline instructions from management is required.

• Leverage data and advanced analytics to derive patterns, trends, and insights.
• Manage fraud rules, scores, and detection strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategy recommendations.
• Build effective relationships within and outside the Fraud organization.
• Identify potential process gaps and opportunities for improving controls.
• Generate and manage regular and ad-hoc reporting for monitoring trends.
