The FOC Engineer role is critical for supporting onsite operations teams through remote monitoring of Data Center infrastructure. This position is part of the Facility Operations Center, which acts as the Command Center for AWS Data Centers. The team is responsible for monitoring power and cooling infrastructure globally and initiating immediate event responses. Candidates will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a diverse group of engineers and specialists to ensure operational success.

• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• 4+ years of data center engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of network design and layout as well as low voltage (copper/fiber) cabling
• Ability to bend or twist the body into unusual positions while working
• Ability to use hands to manipulate small wires and objects
• Ability to walk on job sites in uneven terrain
• Ability to work at heights and from ladders
• Ability to perform physical tasks all day without becoming overly tired
