Job description

The Marcom Engineering team at Apple is seeking an experienced Technical Release Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of web releases and high-profile events. This role combines technical expertise with project management skills to ensure stable and high-quality deployments. The team is responsible for the technology that connects Apple's products with customers, making the delivery of creative operations seamless. The ideal candidate will leverage their knowledge of frontend technologies and CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment consistency across global digital experiences.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in release coordination and DevOps for large-scale web platforms.
  • Understanding of release pipelines, branching, CI/CD automation, configuration management, testing, or risk mitigation.
  • Experience working with Git workflows, CMS systems, and frontend deployment tooling such as Next.js and Node.js.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, Jenkins, GitOps, ITIL frameworks, and automation technologies like GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute regular web releases and high-profile Apple events.
  • Manage cross-functional workflows to ensure stable and secure deployments.
  • Own release cycles related to operational efficiency and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Streamline delivery processes and improve deployment consistency across global digital experiences.
  • Support high-visibility or global web releases.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
