This position involves supporting the department's daily management and ensuring successful area performance through tracking and reporting. The role requires collaboration with internal and external suppliers, as well as providing vacation coverage for Area Managers. The candidate will also participate in safety initiatives and operational excellence initiatives. A strong background in industrial controls and automation is essential for success in this role.

• 5+ years of industrial controls and automation experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering science plus 5+ years of relevant controls experience, OR 10+ years of relevant controls experience in lieu of a degree
• 4+ years of general contractor and vendor management work associated with construction and project execution experience
• Experience with industrial control systems, both hardware and software
• Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent, or MS degree
• Experience designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting or servicing HVAC Controls or Electrical SCADA systems application specific controllers, software and networks
• Experience using common industrial communication protocols such as MQTT, BACnet and/or MODBUS
• Demonstrated understanding of engineering documentation, electrical and mechanical diagrams, and standard operating procedures
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholder deliverables and navigate difficult situations
• Experience designing data centers or critical MEP infrastructure
• Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE), or certified Project Management Professional (PMP)

• Support and work in the department as required
• Help manage daily department duties, including allocating labor and leading meetings
• Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers
• Track and report ATS/labor hours
• Assist the floor as an associate resource, training associates and verifying SOP compliance
• Ensure successful area performance through tracking, reporting, and feedback of associate performance
• Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives
• Fill in as needed with production duties
• Fully understand workflow and daily production goals
• Review and update SOP as required
• Assist in keeping the work area clean and organized
• Identify and address safety hazards within the work area
• Coach associates to work safely at all times
• Participate in safety initiatives
• Refer all job injuries immediately to the area manager
