The Manager, Software Engineering will lead the Accounting Platforms team at Parametric, focusing on the operation, stability, and strategic evolution of accounting systems. This hands-on leadership role involves managing a team responsible for platform reliability and modernization initiatives. The manager will work closely with business leaders and technology stakeholders to ensure the accounting platforms can scale efficiently to meet growing transaction volumes. Success in this role requires balancing operational stability with strategic priorities and fostering collaboration across various teams.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing software engineers.
• Working knowledge of AI capabilities and practical approaches to applying them in engineering organizations.
• Experience leading a technical team through a multi-stakeholder platform build or modernization effort that included business-process change.
• Ability to effectively operate across business process transformation, operational risk management, software delivery, and technology architecture.
• Sufficient hands-on engineering depth to participate in design review and technical trade-off discussions.
• People management experience including performance management, development planning, and hiring.

• Own a single visible, prioritized portfolio spanning platform operations, BAU demand, and strategic transition.
• Own the operational health of the accounting platforms, including reliability, monitoring, and incident response.
• Serve as Primary IT System Owner for the accounting platforms, managing data lifecycle and access controls.
• Own the Radius Accounting Service and design high-value accounting data products.
• Lead the sustained alignment of accounting workflows with Radius, ensuring operational continuity.
• Manage, develop, and grow the engineering team, establishing clear expectations and coaching.
